ADA Forsyth

JC&A partnered with North River Leerink (Owner), JLL (OPM), Redgate (Development Advisor), Gensler and Buro Happold to deliver a 100,000 SF headquarter space for ADA Forsyth, which has the distinction of being the largest oral health facility in the world.

 

JC&A delivered the LEED-Platinum certified space in two phases.

 

Phase I (70,000 SF) encompassed R&D labs, treatment rooms, conference center and executive spaces.

 

Phase II included an additional 30,000 SF of advanced lab space.

 

In addition to achieving LEED Platinum certification, ADA Forsyth was awarded a MassEcon Gold award for their significant contributions to the Somerville community

As Director of Preconstruction., J.R. has 20 years of experience in the A/E/C industry ranging from conceptual estimates to delivering GMP pricing with hard bid/lump sum as well as value analysis and constructability reviews His extensive experience with life science, corporate buildouts, and ground-up buildings has made him a valuable asset to the JC&A family. J.R.’s involvement in multiple projects ranging in size and complexity from 245 5th Ave., 690 Canton, Merchant’s Row, Boston Dynamics, irobot, and Boston Harley-Davidson makes him an asset for JCA and our clients.

Beyond being our “go-to” on our cornerstone projects, J.R. is constantly a mentor helping with the overall development of the Estimating department. He leads by example, his estimating skillset, technical aptitude, organization, and preconstruction game-planning through final client delivery is second to none.

J.R. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from The University of Southern Mississippi and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He also proudly serves on the Duxbury Youth Baseball board. When he’s not coaching baseball, J.R. spends time on the beach in Duxbury, MA with his family.
