JCares: Construction Manager donates time and labor to renovate “The Bass Village Cafe”
J. Calnan and Associates is extremely grateful for their company’s success and takes tremendous pride in giving back to the local communities. Recently JC&A, spearheaded by its JCares Committee, donated labor and materials to renovate the Bakery Building for the St. Coletta & Cardinal Cushing Schools of Massachusetts, Inc.
St. Coletta & Cardinal Cushing Schools of Massachusetts, Inc. provides a life centered approach in caring for children, young adults, and adults with cognitive, physical and emotional disabilities as well as their families. This newly renovated bakery, located on the Hanover campus, is an integral part in the success of the Home, Community and Social Skills Training Program offered through the school. The program provides hands-on training for the functional community living skills necessary for gaining the highest degree of independence.
“Many nonprofit organizations in the local communities need help and it’s up to corporations to lead the charge. It’s gratifying to know that our team and subcontractors stepped up to support this worthy cause,” said Mike Crowther, Vice President at J. Calnan and Associates, Inc. Mike also serves as a member of the Cardinal Cushing School’s Facilities committee.
