JC&A’s focused Special Projects Division continues to thrive in competitive TI Market
6/17/2008, Quincy, MA — J. Calnan & Associates, Inc. announced that its Special Projects Division was recently awarded six new fast-track office fit-out projects. The projects include the renovations to Brookfield Renewable Power’s new US Headquarters, Patient Keeper, One Newton Place, Pegasystems, Liberty Mutual and SAIC.
Brookfield Renewable Power – JCA will work collaboratively with the architect, Visnick & Caufield and engineer, WB Engineers to complete BRP’s US Corporate Headquarters. The project scope includes new state-of-the art offices, high-tech conference rooms, a sophisticated reception area, modern bathrooms and a new café for the employees. Finishes will include floating acoustical ceiling clouds, specialty lighting, porcelain tile, and vinyl plank floors. The S.C.C. will be a full service monitoring center overseeing many of their power plants. It will include redundant power plants and generators along with multiple CRAC units and gaseous fire suppression systems.
Patient Keeper and 4th Floor at One Newton Place – Located in Newton, MA, the 7,500 square foot expansion will include new modern offices, high-tech conference rooms and partitioned work areas. This project will be a collaborative effort between Building Owner, TA Realty; architect, Nelson; construction manager, J. Calnan & Associates and property manager, Jones Lang LaSalle. This marks the 2nd project for Patient Keeper. Our Special Projects Division was also hired to renovate the common areas on the fourth floor of One Newton Place and to create new corridors for multiple tenant spaces.
Pegasystems – Located in Cambridge, MA, the 7,500 square foot project will include renovations to multiple conference rooms including new millwork, wall panels, carpet, ceilings, lighting and mechoshades. JCA will partner with Cubellis to complete this project.
Liberty Mutual – Located in Boston, MA, the 7,000 square foot project includes the build-out of new corporate offices, a state-of-the-art training room and a fully equipped high-tech conference room. JCA will partner with Black Cow Architects and AHA Constulting to complete this project.
SAIC – Located in Lexington, MA, the 5,500 square foot project includes installation of new flooring and ceilings, a contemporary lighting package, fresh fabric at existing operable workstations and the creation of two new millwork niches. JCA will partner with RDK Engineers and ADD, Inc. to complete this project.
Brookfield Renewable Power, Patient Keeper, One Newton Place, Pegasystems, Liberty Mutual and SAIC are the latest additions to the JCA Special Projects Division’s expanding portfolio. Recent projects include Brontes Technologies, Blade Logic, The Boston Spine Group and General Compression to name a few.
