Newly Appointed Partner & Project Executive at JC&A
Chet Braun joined JC&A with a background in high-end, complex corporate buildouts for well-known clients. He immediately put that experience to work at JC&A, successfully delivering projects such as Charles River Country Club, Bay Colony repositioning, ZoomInfo, and the ground-up retail complex at Merchant’s Row.
Chet’s role later shifted to focus on expanding JC&A’s presence in the life sciences and advanced technology markets as the opportunity in these sectors was quickly growing.
Since then, Chet has played a significant role in solidifying JC&A’s reputation and growing list of Science and Technology clients, which includes known names such as Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, Biogen, Sanofi US, , and GSK. JC&A continues to build strong relationships with leading developers, brokers, project management firms, and architects because of his efforts. Most recently, Chet served as the Project Executive at 880 Winter Street in Waltham – a 240K+ life science repositioning project for Boston Properties. The project provides amenities, suites and high-tech labs for notable clients including TScan Therapeutics, RVAC Medicines, Lyra Therapeutics, and EdiGene. He is also leading the firm’s efforts to reposition two other assets for Outshine Properties at 200 Staples in Framingham and 690 Canton Street in Westwood.
“I am proud to contribute to JC&A’s stellar reputation and growing list of life sciences clients, including Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, Biogen, Sanofi US, GSK, Affinia Therapeutics, and Modalis ,” he said. “I am especially proud of the relationships we continue to build with leading developers, brokers, project management firms and architects.”
Chet’s positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail have earned him lasting relationships with key clients and the respect of his peers. Never one to back down from a challenge, Chet consistently handles large workloads and serves as a mentor to younger staff, helping them to develop and hone their skills with the same attentiveness and charisma that has propelled his success.
Outside of work, his true passion lies in being a “girl dad.” The Brauns have three beautiful daughters, and he greatly enjoys coaching his girls’ lacrosse and hockey teams and going skiing or mountain biking with them (or friends) whenever possible. He enjoys doing anything athletic and being outdoors with his girls is what makes him the happiest.
For Chet, being a JC&A Project Executive and a “girl dad” are two full time jobs that he brings his all to on a daily basis. The effects of his commitment to his work can be felt in each of the projects he works on, and the result is our firm’s thriving and expanding presence in the Life Sciences sector. As an individual who considers confidence and leadership to be two of the most important qualities one can have in order to succeed in construction management, Chet continues to demonstrate both and serve as an inspiration for the JC&A team as well as his family.
