Professional Ladies Association (PLA!) Boston is pleased to announce their exciting summer networking event series kicking off during the month of June. Coming off a record year of philanthropy, PLA!’s first event is the “Sip & Swing” series, hosted at Quincy’s Granite Links Country Club on June 14th, July 26th and September 13th.
The popular “Sip & Swing” golf outing event sells out each session throughout the summer. The June, July, and September events are sponsored by Vision 3 Architects, Above All Epoxy Flooring, Highpoint Engineering and Allermuir/Senator, respectively. The annual PLA! Summer Soiree will be shifting gears this year, moving from their traditional rooftop location set sail in Boston Harbor.
As a result of several event sponsors, PLA! is thrilled to offer most programming for free to members.
PLA!’s calendar of monthly networking opportunities lead to their most anticipated fundraiser of the year, “Brunch for Ellie,” which is scheduled for October 19th. Last year’s event, which included moving discussions with several breast cancer survivors, raised over $12,000 for the Ellie Fund, which is a Massachusetts-based non-profit committed to providing essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery and healing. This October, Candy O’Terry will reprise her role as the event emcee, and PLA! is looking to raise $20,000 for the Ellie Fund.
PLA! Boston, co-founded in 2011 by J. Calnan & Associates’ Partner and VP of Marketing, Maureen Rystrom and Business Development expert Kristina Esposito, has a reputation throughout the A/E/C industry for connecting women through networking, mentorship and philanthropy.
