Amazon Robotics – North Reading

JC&A first partnered with an exclusive Robotics Corporation in 2016. Since that time, the following projects have been and continue to be successfully completed within the fully occupied and operational facility:

Office Fitout – 30K SF – An abandoned mechanical mezzanine accommodating (7) 100,000 CFM indoor AHU’s proved to have ample expansion potential. The units were removed, ultimately leaving an open floor plate of pitched and damaged slabs. After extensive upgrades, a new office space was created to house ~200 employees with state of the art facilities.

Equipment Mezzanines – 37K SF – A multi phased effort to construct new steel structures above the active warehouse floor. The (2) new mezzanines, one single and one multi story, were erected and conjoined to existing structures with zero interruption to the company’s daily operations. Throughout the entire process, multiple large-scale design changes have been effectively implemented to accommodate their ever-morphing R&D efforts.

Office Restack and Cafeteria Expansion – 60K SF – JC&A performed a complete renovation and upgrade of the existing office spaces to bring them more in line with the client’s other facilities. Scope included multi-phased renovation of the spaces while the site remained completely active and operational. New offices and conference rooms were added in various areas while the flooring, ceilings and lighting were upgraded throughout.
