JC&A teamed with Packard Design and AHA Engineers to deliver this 105,000 SF World HQ and R&D facility for A123.

The facility, designed for lithium ion grid battery development includes 12,000 SF of pre-manufactured dry room labs and associated Dessicant Dehumidification units ranging from <1% – <30% humidity levels.

The JC&A team installed new primary 3,000 amp electrical service to accomodate new utility requirements, as well as a new freight elevator.

Project highlights include a new loading dock and a new fitness center. Major mechanical upgrades include roughly 700 tons of chiller equipment, 8 million BTU boiler package and a 150 ton Liebert System.
