JAY CALNAN

Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer of J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., (JC&A), Jay offers over thirty years of construction industry experience to his clientele. He is responsible for high-level relationship development, long-term strategic planning, philanthropic initiatives, and various other development opportunities for JC&A. Through his leadership and unequivocal commitment to client service, JC&A has enjoyed numerous repeat business relationships earning a solid reputation as one of New England’s leading construction management firms. He celebrates a host of satisfied clients, including MassBio, Salesforce, Reebok, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Atlantic Management, Boston Properties, New England Sports Network (NESN), iRobot, Biogen IDEC, Boston Dynamics, and General Electric, to name a few.
 
Jay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Management from Tufts University. His professional experience in the construction industry spans from large heavy/highway transportation projects and municipal buildings to the construction of mission-critical/advanced technology and GMP Biotech facilities and markets such as corporate, private schools, advanced technology, and life sciences.
 
Jay is a member of several industry-related associations and affiliations, including the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, Commercial Brokers Association, National Association of Industrial & Office Properties, International Interior Design Association, and CoreNet.
 
He is the Co-Founder of Team IMPACT (www.goteamimpact.org), a national nonprofit that matches children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses with college athletic teams. In addition to Team IMPACT, Jay supports causes such as Boston PAL, The Corey Griffin Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, The One Hundred Club, Champions for Children’s Hospital, South Shore Hospital, The Jimmy Fund, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The American Heart Association, The Greg Hill Foundation and Father Bill’s.
 
Jay is also a proud member of the Board of Trustees for Team IMPACT, The Boston Police Activities League, The One Hundred Club, The Corey Griffin Foundation, and Boston Philanthrophest.
 
As a result of his leadership in the community, JC&A has been recognized by the Boston Business Journal 16 years straight as a Top Charitable Contributor and six times as the Best Place to Work by the Boston Globe.
 
Jay resides in Downtown Boston, MA, and has three children, Christopher, Daintry, and Jake.

James Cahill

President

As President of J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., Jim offers nearly 20 years of construction industry experience. Jim focuses on strategic planning as well as client relationships and development for JC&A. Additionally, he is responsible for overseeing the daily development and execution of multiple projects including construction planning, scheduling, purchasing, cost control, safety and construction implementation. He interfaces directly with the client’s representative, architect and engineer to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with all plans, specifications and applicable building codes. Jim is also a LEED Accredited Professional and assists in leading and coordinating our sustainable and environmentally sensitive projects including those following the LEED Green Building Rating System.

Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Engineering Management from Tufts University. His professional experience encompasses various projects with corporate, life science and institutional clients including involvement with such noted clients as: General Electric, Parexel International, Reebok, Boston Properties, Acceleron Pharma, iRobot and Iron Mountain. Many of these projects were completed design build and with fast track schedules. Jim holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisors license and is a member of several industry-related associations and affiliations including National Association of Industrial & Office Properties, CoreNet, Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, International Facilities Management Association, Commercial Brokers Association and the United States Green Building Council. He is also deeply involved with On the Rise, a non-profit whose mission is to support the initiative and strength of women living in crisis or homelessness and Building Impact.

Jim lives in Hingham and loves spending time with his two awesome children, Beckett and Keira.

TIM KELLY

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer of J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., Tim offers over twenty-five years of accounting and financial related experience. He is responsible for managing all financial, accounting and administrative functions including relationships with Banks, Surety’s and Insurance companies. Tim is also responsible for financial reporting, cash management, budgeting and forecasting, project cost accounting, cost analysis and corporate tax planning. He oversees the ViewPoint accounting software system and works closely with the accounting firm LMHS, P.C.

Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Stonehill College and received certification in Tax Studies from Bentley College.

Tim is registered with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Construction Financial Management Association, and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Tim resides Mansfield, MA with his wife Linda and their 2 daughters, Jessica and Julia.

Michael Crowther

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer and a Partner of J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., Mike is responsible for enhancing the internal organization processes and infrastructure to ensure that JC&A continues to grow and fulfill our mission and strategic plan.
 
Mike offers over thirty years of design and construction industry experience, initially as a Registered Architect and then joining JC&A in 2000 as a Vice President. Mike was appointed to C.O.O. in 2011 as one of the initial partners.
 
He works closely with the Senior Management Team to oversee the company's daily operations, including all human resources and operations functions.
 
This entails overseeing the reporting and monitoring of organizational performance metrics; financial and business planning; recruitment, hiring, and compensation; professional training and development; regulatory oversight and legal compliance; overseeing risk management and legal activities, safety training; Information Technology including hardware, software, and business applications as well as the daily office and administrative functions at J. Calnan & Associates.
 
Mike earned a Bachelor of Architectural degree and an Associate Architectural Engineering degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology. As an architect, he has extensive experience in the design and construction of complex telecommunications and mission-critical/advanced technology facilities, as well as commercial construction for a variety of markets, including corporate, private schools, life sciences, industrial/manufacturing, recreational, mixed-use/multi-unit residential, sustainable buildings and financial.
 
Mike lives in Marshfield, MA, and has two daughters, Morgan and Madison.

Steve Robak

Executive Vice President

As Executive Vice President | Partner of JC&A, Steve offers over thirty (!) years of industry experience. Steve is motivated by a passion to continue to improve the JC&A business model. His primary responsibility is to provide leadership in all aspects of project execution to ensure that our company continues to exceed our corporate commitment to provide world-class service.

Steve earned a five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology. His professional experience includes working in the field as a carpenter, a union laborer, and a design professional at architectural firms in the Boston area before achieving his ultimate aspiration to be part of a management team shaping the direction of a highly regarded construction management firm.

Steve has had extensive involvement and experience working on design/build, ground-up, and large-phased tenant improvement projects in the Academic, Corporate, Science/Technology & Healthcare markets. His projects have spanned working with complex building systems such as slurry wall foundation systems, cast-in place concrete buildings, mill conversions, geothermal heating & cooling, chilled beam mechanical systems, and projects seeking LEED accreditation. Steve’s project resume includes building for The Park School, Harvard, BU, Dartmouth, Olin College, & Thayer Academy. He has also completed medical office buildings for Children’s Hospital and UMass Medical. His corporate campus portfolio includes projects for TJX, Boston Properties, BJ’s Wholesale, Puma, Converse, Schneider Electric, PTC, as well as Atlantic Management’s, “Live, Work, Play” redevelopment of the former 110 Acre HP site in Marlboro, MA. Additionally, Steve has completed a cGMP warehouse, clinical manufacturing facility, and laboratory spaces for clients such as Acceleron, A123, Pfizer, Joule, and Shire Pharmaceuticals. He has also spearheaded the construction of a new Hilton brand 160 key hotel, as well as the build-out of state-of-the-art, high-definition television studios for New England Sports Network (NESN).

Steve holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisors license and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He also holds memberships with several industry-related associations and affiliations, including the American Institute of Architects, Association of Independent Schools of New England, Boston Society of Architects, and Massachusetts Biotechnology Council.

Steve lives in Sudbury, MA with his wife Kristine and their two children, Derek and Brooke.

Scott Trull

Senior Vice President

As Sr. Vice President/Partner for J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., Scott offers over 20 years of construction industry experience. He is responsible for the overall management and coordination of a project from preliminary planning through completion and final occupancy. His responsibilities include supervision of staff and subcontractors, trade coordination, logistics and safety planning, subcontractor buy-out, contract negotiation, requisition review and approval, financial status reports, budget reports, punch lists and quality control.

During his time with J. Calnan & Associates, Scott has directed numerous projects of all type and sizes for corporate office clients, life science companies and robotics companies. These projects included work for high profile companies and landlords such as Philips Healthcare, Boston Properties, Draeger, Adidas, Constant Contact, and Amazon Robotics. In addition to the local area work, Mr. Trull has completed projects for clients in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Brown University.

Scott lives in Franklin, MA with his wife, Janice and their three children Izzy, A.J. and Teddy.

Michael Garrity

Vice President of Preconstruction

As Vice President of Preconstruction at JC&A, Michael offers twenty years of construction industry experience. He is responsible for the daily operations of estimating and pre-construction services and for overseeing the daily operations of the company’s estimating department. Mike possesses a wealth of experience in construction management, with expertise in estimating, procurement and cost control.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Engineering Management from Tufts University. His professional experience encompasses the involvement in multiple projects (ranging in size up to $300 million) with extensive experience in conceptual estimating through GMP development.

His experience spans from large heavy/highway transportation campus redevelopment projects to corporate, life science and technology projects.

Mike lives in Braintree, MA with his wife, Kara and their 3 children Matthew, Sammy and Kelcey.

Maureen Rystrom

Vice President of Marketing

As Vice President of Marketing | Partner at J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., Maureen has 20 years of marketing experience in the A/E/C industry. She is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing marketing strategies and communications around brand management; internal and external public relations; industry awards and recognition programs; events; and philanthropic initiatives. Maureen also works closely with the senior leadership team at JC&A on the business development efforts as well as JC&A’s strategic initiatives, including employee training and development, strategic relationships, technology tools, and overall processes and procedures.

Maureen is extremely active as a leader in numerous industry organizations. She serves on the Executive Committee as President of CoreNet Global New England Chapter and is involved in the Commercial Brokers Association, where she served on the Executive Committee. She is also involved in NAIOP, where she was an active member of the Charitable Events Committee and former VP of the Marketing and Membership Committee. Maureen is also the Co-Founder of an all-women’s networking group, PLA!, which has gained tremendous traction for its emphasis on mentoring and philanthropy.

Maureen gives back to the community positively as a proud supporter of Team IMPACT, whose mission is to connect and cultivate meaningful relationships between college athletic teams and children diagnosed with life-threatening diseases.

She is the proud mother of her three active boys, Adam, Aidan, and Andrew. She and her husband, Adam, live in Lynnfield, MA with their 3 sons and their dog, Maddie.

Michael Wilson

Vice President of Client Development

As Vice President of Client Development | Partner at J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., Mike offers over twenty two years of construction industry experience. Mike works closely with the Senior Management team to ensure the execution of JC&A’s overall strategic plan for relationship development across all of our major vertical markets. He also on the forefront of development of new business opportunities as well as the cultivation of existing relationships.

Mike gives back to the community positively as a proud supporter of Team IMPACT, whose mission is to connect and cultivate meaningful relationships between college athletic teams and children diagnosed with life-threatening disease.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Facilities Planning and Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology. His professional experience in the real estate and construction community allows him to support both the estimating and operations groups while maintaining existing client relationships.

Mike holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisors license, is a LEED Accredited professional and a member of several industry-related associations including the United States Green Building Council, the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties and the Commercial Broker Association.

Mike lives in Andover with his wife Santina, son Max, daughter Ella and two crazy dogs Roxy and Chase.

Jeff Cameron

Project Executive

Jeff has been with JC&A for over 15 years and has risen through the ranks to Project Executive & Partner. As a Project Executive, Jeff is responsible for business development and the overall management and coordination of his projects. His responsibilities include supervision of staff and subcontractors, overall project planning, financial management, contract negotiation and being the direct point of contact for clients, OPM’s and A&E Principles.

Within his role at JC&A, Jeff has managed numerous complex construction projects for major clients including The Skating Club of Boston, Philips, Pegasystems, Amazon, Marlborough Hills, Kayak.com, TripAdvisor, Ultimate Kronos Group and Biocytogen to name a few. Jeffs two decades in the industry span multiple vertical markets including Corporate TI, Life Science, Ground-up, Healthcare, MOB, Manufacturing, Industrial, Hospitality, Core & Shell and full property repositioning.

Jeff is a true testament of the success of JC&A’s internal training program having grown both personally and professionally. As such, he now holds a leadership role and assists with the coordination of all of JC&A’s Training Initiatives and company standards.

Jeff is actively involved in the community and industry serving as a member of our JCAres Committee as well as assisting the Board of Directors of the Wentworth Alumni Association. He is also an engaged member of IFMA , CMAA and Corenet!

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology and lives in Easton, MA with his wife, Maria and their two sons, Christian and Lucas. When not working, Jeff enjoys the golf course, being on the water, skiing and coaching multiple soccer teams and holds a National US Soccer Coaches D License.

David Conner

Director of Project Management

As Director of Project Management for J. Calnan & Associates, David offers over twenty years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on projects in the Corporate, Academic, Industrial and Advanced Technology markets.

Dave has been a key member of our Operations and Senior Management group having served as both Director of Special Projects and Project Executive. He has a keen understanding of our processes and procedures and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of these systems across our entire project management team.

Dave earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Union College. His professional experience includes projects for high-profile clients such as Boston Properties, SunLife Financial, Adobe, Amadeus, A123 Systems, PegaSystems, Boston College, Akamai and Ocean Spray.

Dave is a LEED Accredited professional and a proud supporter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America and Thompson Island Outward Bound.

Dave lives in Hanover, MA with his wife Nicole and their daughter, Andie.

Daniel Charest

Project Executive

Daniel Charest, LEED AP has been a member of the JC&A family for over eighteen years. Dan started as an Assistant Project Manager and has grown from within to his current position of Project Executive and in 2021 becoming a Partner. As a Project Executive, Dan collaborates and manages a variety project in the Corporate, Ground-Up, Robotics and Science & Technology, markets taking each project from opportunity to project closeout while continuing to foster those relationships.

Dan has been involved with numerous complex construction projects for JC&A including Boston Dynamics, 50 Otis Street repositioning, Schneider Electric, Olympus and Cognex. Dan and his team recently completed a substantial site reposition project at the former Greendale Mall site in Worcester and is currently leading the team at 245 5th Avenue; JC&A’s largest project to date, as well as 54 Otis in Westborough; a continuation of the 50 Otis repositioning project.

Dan is a pragmatic, level-headed, process thinker who thrives on the daily multi-tasking, problem-solving environment at JC&A and leads our Technology Initiatives. He is constantly looking for ways JC&A can remain on the cutting-edge and how technology can continue to improve our processes while making the construction more lean and innovative.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is heavily involved with his community in Salem, MA.

Dan lives in Salem, MA with his wife, Lisa and their 2 children, Cameron and Hailey. When not at work, Dan enjoys time away with his family either on the slopes up north or exploring a new place around the country.

John Noone

Vice President of Field Operations

As Vice President of Field Operations and Partner for J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., John offers over thirty years of construction industry experience. He is responsible for the development and implementation of various JC&A field standards including training, safety, schedule management, quality control, and client relationship building.

He oversees our field operations; monitors job schedules and works with our General Superintendents with job site visits. John works with our Senior Management group for field assignments/training and is involved with the company’s general business decisions including the hiring of superintendents and at the helm of our field support committee.

John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology. His professional experience includes large scale clean room projects for microchip and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Ground up and fit out projects for high-profile clients such as Biogen, New England Sports Network (NESN), General Electric, Polaroid, Symbios Logic, Westin Hotel, Motorola, and Intel.

John is a LEED Accredited Professional, retains his Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s license and holds his OSHA 500 Card.

John lives in Canton, MA and has 4 children, Michael, David, Laura, and Joseph.

Chet Braun

Project Executive

As Project Executive, Chet is responsible for the overall management and coordination of each project, including construction expediting, construction progress schedules, equipment commissioning and testing and project closeout, and serve as the primary contact on all field related construction matters preliminary planning through completion and occupancy. His responsibilities include the supervision of staff and subcontractors, trade coordination, logistics, safety planning, requisition review and approval, financial status, budget reports, punch lists and quality control.

Chet’s extensive experience with high-end, complex Life Science, DOD and Technology projects valuable asset to the JC&A family. Recent experience includes repositioning of (5) different buildings totaling over 680,000 sqft to a Life Science use in addition to building out over 900K sqft of labs throughout his career. Chet is regarded as a mentor for younger team members, and is a proud supporter of Team IMPACT.

Chet resides in Norwell with his wife and three awesome daughters, Ruby, Stella and Julia.

Joe Pires

Project Executive

As Project Executive for J. Calnan & Associates, Joe offers over eighteen years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on projects ranging from several thousand to several million dollars across a variety of sectors. Joe is responsible for the daily development and operations of each project including construction planning, scheduling, purchasing, cost control, safety and construction implementation.

Joe has developed a reputation with clients for tackling any challenge put before him. Whether it’s an aggressive schedule, a phased or multi-floor project, or a surgical off-hours renovation in an occupied space, Joe approaches every job with a can-do attitude and a sense of urgency and professionalism. More recently, Joe has taken on the exciting challenge of full Business Park repositioning.

Joe’s positive attitude and exceptional results have been instrumental in helping to build long-term relationships with valuable clients including Sun Life Financial, Boston Properties, Affiliated Physicians Group, CBRE and many more.

Joe lives in Foxboro, MA with his wife, Tina and their daughter, Evelyn along with their Bullmastiff, Basil.

Molly Gates

Project Executive

As a Project Executive for J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., Molly offers over 15 years of construction industry experience. She is responsible for the overall management and coordination of a project from preliminary planning through completion and final occupancy. Her responsibilities include supervision of staff and subcontractors, trade coordination, logistics and safety planning, subcontractor buy-out, contract negotiation, requisition review and approval, financial status reports, budget reports, punch lists and quality control.  She is also extensively involved in internal training and the development of junior staff.

During her time with J. Calnan & Associates, Molly’s results have been instrumental in helping to build long-term relationships with valuable clients including high profile companies and landlords such as Boston Properties, Boston Harley-Davidson, iRobot, Parexel and Pegasystems.

Molly holds a Bachelor of Architectural/Civil Engineering from Tufts University, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.  She is also a proud supporter of Habitat for Humanity and the Pan-Mass Challenge.  When she isn’t spending time in the mountains of Vermont, Molly lives in Watertown, MA with her wife, Sara and their rescue dog, Jasper.

KyLE Nasman

Project Executive

As Project Executive for J. Calnan & Associates, Kyle has over 12 years of experience in the construction industry. He serves as the main point of contact for the New York office and is responsible for the overall management of all staff and operations. His responsibilities include client relations, overseeing project budgets and schedules, assisting in trade coordination, financial reports, and quality control.

Kyle goes out of his way to ensure that all client expectations are being met at every stage of a project. He believes in making the construction process enjoyable for all parties and uses his experience from projects across multiple sectors to tackle any challenges thrown at him head on.

Kyle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. He has held multiple role titles with J. Calnan & Associates, starting with Estimating Intern while still a student at Wentworth.

Kyle resides in Purchase, NY with his wife Rachel, son Theo, and twins Axel & Linnea.

Michael Keaney

Director of Field Operations

Throughout Michael’s 23 years with JC&A he has held many roles, leading to his current position as Director of Field Operations. In this role, Michael works alongside the JC&A Project Management teams and the estimating team on all active projects to ensure the quality and service that is expected from our Owners, Clients and Design teams. Michael plays an active role in making sure all jobs are meeting their specific safety, scheduling, procurement, and manpower requirements.

As General Superintendent, Michael is responsible for the constant development of the overall management and coordination of all field operations from the onset to the completion of the project. His responsibilities include delegation of the field labor personnel, subcontractor coordination in the field, material delivery control, maintaining the overall Project schedule and updates as well as short interval scheduling and the implementation of the corporate safety plan. He works closely with the Building officials and all their Departments/Boards through the Permitting Phase and acts as a liaison between the Owner/Architect and the Town as well as any Neighborhood groups that may have concerns on the Project.

Michael has construction experience in a variety of sectors, having completed projects for academic clients, athletic centers, Bio and Health labs, building repositioning, road construction and ground up projects, and well as many concrete and steel projects. Michael is also a LEED Accredited Professional and assists in leading and coordinating our sustainable and environmentally sensitive projects including those following the LEED Green Building Rating System.

Michael took point on establishing and working with JC&A’s Senior Management team to create our Annual JC&A Memorial Scholarship, a $20,000 scholarship awarded to the one child of an active employee per year.

To date, we have been able to give over $100,000 in funds to students that have won the award. The scholarship was created to honor JC&A employees that left us far too early and is a great way to keep their memory alive.

Michael is proud to be an active member of JCAres, our internal philanthropy committee.

Michael lives in Kingston, MA with his wife, Cheri and their Granddaughter Ava, they have 2 daughters, Anna and Angela.

Michael spends most of his off time shuttling between Tennis, Soccer and Dance with his granddaughter, helping out his daughters with home renovations, and finding a free weekend to visit Florida!

Todd Casilli

General Superintendent

Todd is a General Superintendent at JCA. With over 30 years of experience In both residential and commercial construction. He is responsible for planning and running all types of construction projects from ground up to fit out work. Todd works closely with his project team on buy out and scope review to ensure that all scope is captured prior to the start of the project. Todd also works closely with his team on all site-specific safety and logistics to ensure that projects run smoothly.

Todd is a member of the JCAST team which is a team of seasoned superintendents designed to mentor and help younger supers.

Todd has coached youth football for many years and enjoys working with young kids. Todd is a father to 3 children Natalie, Nicholas, and Noelle. Todd and his wife Cori along with 2 yellow labs Otis, and Rocky live in Milford, MA.

Leo Boffoli

General Superintendent

As General Superintendent, Leo Boffoli successfully oversees and manages large-scale construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Leo’s responsible for communication and collaboration with his clients, subcontractors, architects, engineers, Building Department officials and other construction team members to ensure the project runs efficiently. He manages construction schedules and implements safety protocols to protect all workers on site.

Leo has been with J. Calnan for 9 years. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology where he received his construction management certificate, and is a certified LEED Accredited Professional. He enjoys his role in JCAST, a team assisting field supervisors and leading team meetings and events. Leo has experience in a variety of projects, including lab facilities, office space and warehouse facilities. He has successfully completed projects for clients such as SanDisk, Juno Lab Facilities, Rocket Software and Amazon Robotics.

Leo enjoys supporting JCAres with the Special Olympics and Heading Home programs. He lives in Sterling, MA with his wife Sarah. Leo has four daughters and one son.

JR Ezell

Director of Preconstruction

As Director of Preconstruction., J.R. has 20 years of experience in the A/E/C industry ranging from conceptual estimates to delivering GMP pricing with hard bid/lump sum as well as value analysis and constructability reviews His extensive experience with life science, corporate buildouts, and ground-up buildings has made him a valuable asset to the JC&A family. J.R.’s involvement in multiple projects ranging in size and complexity from 245 5th Ave., 690 Canton, Merchant’s Row, Boston Dynamics, irobot, and Boston Harley-Davidson makes him an asset for JCA and our clients.

Beyond being our “go-to” on our cornerstone projects, J.R. is constantly a mentor helping with the overall development of the Estimating department. He leads by example, his estimating skillset, technical aptitude, organization, and preconstruction game-planning through final client delivery is second to none.

J.R. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from The University of Southern Mississippi and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He also proudly serves on the Duxbury Youth Baseball board. When he’s not coaching baseball, J.R. spends time on the beach in Duxbury, MA with his family.

Peter Dussault

PETER DUSSAULT

Director of Engineering Services

Peter has over twenty-five years of engineering and consulting experience in the construction industry. Peter has worked across many sectors and has extensive experience in the Corporate Interiors, Life Sciences, Advanced Technology, Academic, Healthcare, and Commercial markets.
 
As Director of Engineering Services for JC&A, Peter leverages his industry knowledge and expertise within our Operations & Preconstruction teams, focusing on growing our advanced technology and life sciences client base. He provides much-needed expertise in our increasingly complex MEP projects and leverages his experience during Preconstruction, on our Design-Build projects, as well as startup and commissioning. Peter also participates in training and mentoring for both our Project Management and Field staff.
 
Those who know Peter appreciate the true team player approach he brings to every project.
 
In his free time, Pete enjoys spending time with his family, watching his kids play sports, and golfing.

Andre Grant

Human Resources Manager

Human Resources & Payroll Manager at J. Calnan & Associates, Inc. Andre has over 20 years of payroll and human resources experience both in the military and private sector. He serves as an expert advisor to our executive leadership and senior management teams and provides ongoing mentorship and career development advice to employees at all levels of the organization.

He has worked diligently over the years to modernize JC&A’s web-based employee portal while simultaneously created policies and procedures that foster a culture that both embrace and celebrate the differences and unique experiences of all employees. He is a firm believer and strong proponent of what he considers the “JC&A Way” which is rooted in building and developing strong networks, and collaboration both within our organization and our communities.

In addition to serving our great nation for over 21-years as member of the United States Army Reserve, with multiple deployments overseas and countless missions, Andre continues to gives back to his community as a board member for Canton Youth Basketball, and Thayer Academy’s Parent Athletic Council. He is also a proud supporter of Team IMPACT, and the organizations amazing mission to uplift a segment of our community that is often overlooked.

Andre is a proud husband, father, veteran and member of the Canton, MA community.

Marci Brundage Headshot

Marci Brundage

Director of administrative operations

Marci has been with JC&A for over 16 years and serves as the Office Manager. She is responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the office as well as administrative staff. She also works hand in hand with our operations team to ensure the proper contracts, subcontracts and insurance are in place for each project.

Marci loves to travel and has visited the following countries, China, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland, France. She looks forward to adding more to the list. Martha’s Vineyard is near and dear to her heart and is where her best friend and her Goddaughter live. Marci has made many friends there over the years and spends as much time on island as possible. She loves spending time with her friends and family and taking day trips to explore New England.

Samantha Shedlock

Marketing Manager

As Marketing Manager at JC&A, Sam brings over a dozen years of marketing experience in the AEC industry, along with a unique background in the film industry. She is responsible for developing proposals, managing our social media, lending graphic support, web site development, and helping with new marketing strategies and initiatives.
 
Sam is also the President of JC&A’s internal philanthropy committee, JCAres. JC&A has been named as a Top Corporate Philanthropist for 18 years in a row, and in 2022, was ranked #1 in Massachusetts for the highest average volunteer hours among employees, an honor Sam is particularly proud of. JCAres is consistently active in the community, with the goal of hosting a donation drive, awareness walk, or volunteer day each month to benefit a local group in need. JCAres supports Heading Home, Special Olympics of MA, the Ellie Fund, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Father Bills, Interfaith Social Services, and the Animal Rescue League of Boston, just to name a few.
 
Sam is an enthusiastic member of PLA! and loves planning events for both PLA! and JCAres. Sam is a proud supporter of Team IMPACT, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Heading Home, and takes the Polar Plunge benefitting the Special Olympics every year.
 
In her free time, Sam follows the philosophy that every weekend should be treated like a vacation! She enjoys gardening, photography, road trips, spin class, clamming, golf, and being out on the water. Sam loves being an aunt to her four extraordinary nieces. She lives on Christmas Tree Lane with her pup, Goldie and her partner Vince.
