11/29/2013, Quincy, MA — J. Calnan & Associates is proud to announce the completion of the multi-phased Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) campus project at 140 Kendrick Street in Needham, MA.

The project scope included over 320,000 SF, spanning multiple floors and buildings.

Simultaneous construction zones had the campus undertaking an incredibly detailed phased re-stacking program. Included in the overall project were new Software Labs, Data Center, and general office space renovations, amounting in large amounts of new usable space. The net reclaimed 15,000 SF of lab space was converted to general office use and programmed according to various department proximities.

During the process of reclaiming labs, sublets, and consolidation to accommodate the yield-up of C3, a unique opportunity was afforded PTC in repositioning work groups to better support the company’s long term business plan. Various departments have been reconfigured in an effort to maximize space efficiency and a projected campus headcount growth of approximately 15% has been tested and incorporated into the overall program.
