Successful Renovation to World Headquarters Leads to Repeat Partnership

5/7/2010, Quincy, MA — J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., one of New England’s leading construction management firms specializing in world-class pre-construction services and challenging construction projects, has expanded its impressive corporate portfolio to include Converse World Headquarters.

J. Calnan & Associates was first hired by Converse in August 2009 to overhaul and expand its world headquarters in North Andover, MA. Working collaboratively with Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc., Sebesta Blomberg & Struble Engineering, the team transformed 42,000 SF of the building’s interior by creating a work-friendly environment that is reflective of the Converse brand. Highlights include a new mezzanine that expanded the usable space and a new library area which included a 15′ x 22′ skylight that provides natural lighting to the interior of the building. Extensive interior glazing walls were installed in a grid pattern with a patchwork of different types of glass panels to provide the feel of a well-seasoned warehouse. The build-out also included a Mock Retail area and cutting-edge conferencing center.

Its successful completion has lead to several additional projects for “America’s Original Sports Company”™ including the renovation of their current Executive Office, Support Staff and Boardrooms.
