3/23/2012, Quincy, MA — J. Calnan & Associates, Andrew Cohen Architects and AHA Engineers completed the new World Headquarters for the cutting-edge travel/software company, Kayak.com. Located in Concord, MA, the project included the demolition and reconstruction of their existing space as well as a 12,000 square foot addition to accommodate their growing team.
As the heart of the operation, the Server Room provided the inspiration for the design and is the focal point of the space. Additional highlights include a razor-thin, saw-tooth ornamental stair that connects the 2 floors; glass and acrylic partitions throughout that create an open environment; hanging partitions that allow for flexible conference and lounge space, state-of-the-art Audio Visual and Teleconferencing capabilities to support their business as well as unique seating areas, kitchens and team rooms.
