MassBio Hub

The MassBioHub is a unique conference and business center for Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MassBio) members. The 20,000 SF space in Cambridge, MA spans the 4th and 5th floors at 300 Technology Center Drive, which is also home to the Mass Bio HQ.

The new, state-of-the-art meeting areas boast versatile spaces that can accommodate groups of up to 200 to suit any member needs from staff huddles to full-scale conferences and corporate events. JC&A integrated new AV, Security, Tel Data, and lighting control for the space. The team also installed a sound masking system to eliminate existing building noise.

Designed to support networking opportunities, the space features multiple communal areas and an interconnecting black steel staircase with hand crafted Corian and pressure treated wood. The new staircase connects the 4th and 5th floors, while a selection of private offices support business needs.

JC&A used over 2,000 SF of plastic laminate and 1,000 SF of wood to create TRIA’s vision for the space. All millwork was hand crafted in Methuen, MA, while all flooring material was imported from Italy.
