In keeping with its community commitment, JC&A recently joined forces with the American Heart Association to raise awareness and funds to fight heart disease and stroke.
Since 1924 the American Heart Association has helped protect people of all ages and ethnicities from the ravages of heart disease and stroke. These diseases, the Nation’s No.1 and No.3 killers, claim more than 910,000 American lives a year. The association invested more than $543 million in fiscal year 2005-06 for research, professional and public education, and advocacy so people across America can live stronger, longer lives.
Despite the sideways rain, thunderstorms and puddles, thousands of people joined the J. Calnan & Associates’ team for the 1, 3, or 6 mile walk around Boston in high spirits and full of energy. Thanks to lots of generous supporters, The J. Calnan & Associates’ team was able to contribute over $15,000.00 for this worthy cause helping the American Heart Association raise close to $1.5 Million!
