1/28/2011, Quincy, MA — J. Their new campus is located at 25 Research Drive in Westborough, MA.
The last major renovation to the 300,000 square foot facility, formerly occupied by National Grid, took place in the early 1990’s. The project team had just 4 months to retrofit approximately 95% of the entire building. The project consisted of the complete demolition and renovation of the existing offices & cubicles for over 1,000 employees; life safety renovations; 20,000 SF of state-of-the-art executive suites complete with a cutting-edge video conferencing board room; 11 additional video conferencing rooms; a full-service cafeteria complete with a server and kitchen; 300+ person auditorium; lighting upgrades; new carpet, paint and millwork throughout as well as folding partitions and upgrades to nearly 25 bathrooms.
The project team also included Cushman & Wakefield, tenant representation; ADD, Inc, architecture and Creative Office Pavillion, office furniture.
The team was able to overcome the challenging 14 week schedule to have BJ’s in their new corporate headquarters at the beginning of this year.
