By now, we’ve all heard at least one of Nick Allie’s rock-climbing adventure stories. Between his busy schedule on site at Seurat in Wilmington, pitching in to help cover other jobs, bouncing to and from JCAres opportunities and his enviable vacations, Nick’s energy and enthusiasm seems to be limitless.
A former Marine, Nick is no stranger to teamwork and the special relationships you can build with your coworkers, making him a great fit here amongst the other Supers at JC&A. When asked, Nick said that to him, the JC&A way “means going the extra mile to help clients and coworkers and bringing a sense of positivity to the table.”
Three years ago, Nick joined JC&A after expressing to his friend Jim Cahill a desire to further his knowledge and career in construction. Nick quickly jumped into the mix as a Super on one of Amazon’s projects in Westborough, and then moved on to work on multiple projects in Marlborough and Burlington for Ciminelli, a relationship he says he really enjoyed developing.
While he’s thriving in his role as a Super, Nick says his favorite part of JC&A is when the field and operations come together for events, like company meetings, the annual client holiday bash, the Navy Seal Legacy Foundation Gala, the Best Places to Work awards, or one of our many volunteer opportunities. In fact, Nick’s proudest moment at JC&A was when he volunteered with his son Jacob at last fall’s Special Olympics flag football tournament. “Getting to experience how the athletes look at life, regardless of their conditions, is a really special thing,” he says.
What’s next? Nick hopes to continue bringing a positive attitude and professionalism to every aspect of the job, both in the field and in the office, and while volunteering in the community as a member of JCAres.
