Eric Bridges brings passion, pride, and perseverance to everything he does—always rocking his JC&A gear with a smile and a great tan. Since joining JC&A in September 2019, Eric has been a force in the field and a true embodiment of The JC&A Way. A proud husband, father, and craftsman, Eric pours his heart into everything he does. Once you get him talking about something he loves—whether it’s his kids’ sports, his wife, Marie, or a challenging project—he can go on for hours (literally).
Known to many as “Big E,” Eric has earned the respect of teammates and clients alike for his clear communication, steady leadership, and ability to keep even the most complex projects on track. From Dicerna at 33 Hayden Avenue and Abiomed at Cherry Hill Drive to the 166,000 SF lab repositioning at 690 Canton Street in Westwood, his proactive mindset and commitment to excellence inspire his crews every day.
Eric’s success in the field comes from his meticulous nature, often jokingly called his “OCD tendencies.” He keeps his desk spotless, his notes precise, and his plans perfectly organized. That same attention to detail drives his work, where careful planning, coordination, and follow-through set him apart.
With his hands-on approach and whatever-it-takes mindset, Eric thrives in demanding environments. Whether managing a five-phase occupied renovation or a fast-paced lab buildout, he keeps projects running smoothly and teams connected. It’s no surprise he’s been recognized multiple times as a Super in the Spotlight for his ability to deliver under pressure.
Beyond his technical skills, Eric’s genuine personality and down-to-earth style make him a huge part of what makes JC&A special. He’s known for his approachable nature and big heart. Come holiday party time, the Marketing Team counts on “Big E” to help quiet the crowd. He spent years building and frequenting Boston nightclubs, so he knows how to handle a lively room. But everyone also knows he’s really just a big teddy bear who loves his family, faith, and country.
When asked about his proudest JC&A moment, Eric doesn’t point to a single project milestone. Instead, he says, “Probably the day I was hired, because the last six years have truly been a blessing.”
Among his favorite JC&A traditions is Turkey Time, which he says marks the start of the holiday season and a moment to celebrate the year together as one big family. “It’s that time when you reflect on the good, bad, and ugly and realize we made it through together.”
For Eric, The JC&A Way comes down to teamwork, dedication, camaraderie, and family—and setting a standard of excellence in everything we do.
