From front desk to front lines, Emily Craig’s path into construction is a testament to passion, drive, and seizing every opportunity. What began as a receptionist role nearly 20 years ago at an electrical contracting firm quickly evolved into a love for project operations. Promoted to work alongside Project Managers, Emily discovered her calling—and hasn’t looked back since.
Today, as an Assistant Project Manager at JC&A, Emily brings that same enthusiasm and curiosity to every project she touches. She was first drawn to JC&A through a former coworker who spoke highly of the JC&A’s culture, exciting projects, and the freedom to work creatively. “Their passion for the company was infectious,” Emily shared. “I’m thrilled to be here, working with an amazing team in an environment that truly values innovation and autonomy.”
Now more than three years into her JC&A journey, Emily has played a key role on several high-impact projects, including Johnson & Johnson/Abiomed’s campus in Danvers. From cleanroom construction to office space transformations, she’s proud to be part of work that blends precision with purpose.
To Emily, The JC&A Way means more than just delivering top-tier spaces—it’s about fostering relationships, creating lasting impact, and having fun along the way. Her favorite tradition? The legendary summer party. “Last year’s mechanical bull was unforgettable,” she laughs. “Watching everyone cheer each other on captured the energy of our team perfectly.” She also loves participating in JCAres events like the Animal Rescue League visit, where she was almost tempted to bring home every animal she met.
Outside of work, Emily is always up for an adventure—especially if her dogs, Crispin & Iris, are tagging along. Whether it’s kayaking, hiking, or camping, she’s happiest outdoors. She’s also a devoted concert-goer and has traveled far and wide (even out of the country!) to see her favorite band, Hanson. But sometimes, all it takes is a good playlist and a beer by the campfire to make a perfect night.
“I’m incredibly grateful to be part of a company that values both its people and its clients,” Emily says. “I look forward to continuing to contribute to our success—and building even more unforgettable memories with the team.”
Please join us in celebrating Emily Craig and all the energy, creativity, and care she brings to JC&A. From job sites to concert nights, she reminds us—just like Hanson once sang—“you have to hold on to the ones who really care.”
