J. Calnan and Associates (JC&A), one of the largest merit shop construction managers in the Northeast, recently completed a new cutting-edge medical facility for Synergy Private Health.
This milestone marks a significant advancement in providing premium healthcare services to Synergy Members, offering holistic primary care, cardiovascular care, and lifestyle medicine within a bespoke concierge medical program.
The newly constructed space spans over 10,000 square feet of high-end class A medical office premises, meticulously designed to cater to the diverse needs of modern healthcare. It features a comprehensive array of facilities including exam rooms, treatment rooms, wellness rooms, private offices, conference rooms, a full-service food prep kitchen, and a serene 3-season rooftop deck providing a tranquil retreat.
JC&A’s involvement in the project began with three months of intensive preconstruction services aimed at aligning Synergy’s vision with budgetary objectives. Leveraging extensive value engineering, a dual estimate approach, and meticulous change tracking, the collaborative effort ensured that the project not only met but surpassed financial targets. This strategic approach not only optimized cost efficiencies but also allowed for the integration of additional premium finish features, enhancing the facility’s overall appeal.
