At JC&A, we have the opportunity to work with some really forward-thinking companies like iRobot. Their products, including the award-winning Roomba® Vacuuming Robot and the Braava® family of mopping robots, have been welcomed into millions of homes around the world and are hard at work every day helping people to get more done.

When we see these products in people’s homes, we take great pride in the fact that we have built over 500,000 SF of office, R&D and manufacturing space for them over the past 10 years including their World HQ in Bedford, MA.

Previous projects included the new construction of 150,000 SF for the world headquarters for the manufacturers of Roomba™ and Terra™ home help robots. The scope of work included a museum to highlight iRobot’s products and history, as well as research and development areas, executive offices and conference rooms.

JC&A recently completed a multi-phased renovation project with Architect IA and Engineer AHA. Together, the team has created an “open ceiling plan”, featuring exposed beams and ductwork, as well as a natural wayfinding corridor which leads to different departments and office features, acting as a main corridor, and offering a multitude of visitor experiences through a variety of unique finishes.
