Biogen’s headquarters are located at The Weston Corporate Center in Weston, MA.
J. Calnan & Associates completed the fast-track 100,000 square foot corporate headquarters in just fourteen weeks. Highlights include new executive offices with high-end finishes, open office areas and workstations as well as three cutting-edge telepresence and video conference rooms.
JC&A is committed to using technology to ultimately make a project more efficient and effective for clients. This was especially important to Biogen. Equipped with the Apple iPad, the JC&A team was able to use this emerging technology to communicate project information, send meeting minutes, access real time data, review plans and coordinate the punchlist. This allowed for great collaboration amongst the entire team and expedited the decision making process to ultimately keep the project on schedule.
The project team included Boston Properties, landlord; Vanderweil Engineers, mechanical, electrical plumbing and fire protection engineering; Nelson, architecture; and Office Environments, audio-visual and furniture.
This marks the second project with Biogen IDEC in as many years and is latest addition to J.
