The success of any project is based on the quality of project organization, communication and the implementation of proper project controls. JC&A establishes these at the inception of every project.

Safety:
Safety has always been paramount at JC&A and we enforce the ultimate safety standards at all times.  Through our work with State and local officials, we have developed and implemented comprehensive Covid-19 Protocols across all our jobsites in multiple languages.

Our commitment to safety goes beyond the required OSHA safety practices. Our operations are guided by an established safety policy that is based on a sincere desire to eliminate personal injuries, occupational illnesses and damage to equipment and property.

We have programs in place to serve as constant safety reminders.  Our Safety Sticker Program ensures that all subcontractors assigned to a project have been orientated with our program for that specific project and have a number that correlates with their name prominently displayed on their hard hat.

Under no circumstances will the standards of safety be lowered or overlooked in the interests of time or profit. Safety rules and regulations are put into place for the protection of our employees, subcontractors, clients and the general public.

Sustainability:
At JC&A we strive to provide sustainable thinking and an array of green practices to each project whether large or small. We provide sustainable construction methodologies on projects that incorporate energy efficiency and reduce consumption of our natural resources whenever possible. Each of our projects include a waste management plan that diverts waste and salvages materials. In doing so, JC&A has been able to divert 84.3% of our construction debris from landfills over the past 5 years. In addition JC&A has developed an IAQ (indoor air quality) program we follow to ensure a healthy construction environment for all our staff and subcontractors for the duration of each project.

Almost 90 percent of our Project Management team is LEED accredited further enhancing our ability to offer sustainable solutions to our clients. In the past six years we’ve worked on over a dozen LEED Certified projects including one of the largest geothermal residential developments in the country, New England’s first eco-friendly affordable senior housing developments and multiple projects in the oldest LEED EB Gold building in the United States.

LEED Expertise
For projects employing extensive green measures, certification programs like the USGBC’s LEED rating system are a great way to achieve recognition. LEED has been instrumental in increasing the awareness and understanding of sustainable construction practices, and we’re always excited to apply our years of expertise to helping clients navigate the certification process.

Training:
At JC&A we seek out the best & brightest individuals in the industry, and endeavor to provide them with every opportunity for professional success. As such, we offer a variety of resources for our associates to sharpen their skills and grow their networks both within our organization and the larger commercial real estate industry. JC&A University is the cornerstone of our training program and provides our staff with ongoing technical training on a variety of relevant topics including safety, quality control, workflow and document management, contract administration, sustainability and industry best practices. Our field staff is OSHA-certified and all JC&A employees are trained in first aid, CPR, and the use of AED’s.Through our involvement in industry and trade organizations, we provide our associates with countless opportunities to develop and expand their professional networks.

Vista by Viewpoint handles our conventional project and financial management duties, providing our team with real-time financial data in an incredibly robust platform. From AutoCAD to Navis to Revit, we provide our team access to the latest BIM tools required to construct complex facilities. And our recent investment in two Boston Dynamics Spot robotic dogs opens up new possibilities for documenting construction progress, monitoring remote environments, and automating tasks that would otherwise consume valuable resources.
